ALMOND JACKET
The statement piece jacket for our fifth collection, this round we make the color more subtle taking the inspiration from the ambient of the meat shop in the late 20s in Tuscany over there they call it La marcelleria which looking back at old photos and we fell in love with all the colors and vibe. Back then when I studied in Italy, I always stopped by the meat shops pass by along the street. The color is the mixed of brown shades dyed by almond leaves and ebony mixed together which if you look closely you will see how these brown wars and weft each other. The stripe came from the idea of the meat it is brown to pinkish tone for the contrast.
The silhouette is inspired by the workwear jacket that has a pleat each side. Why? When you wear it, you will feel that the jacket has a layer so it doesn’t make the piece look that flat. Coming with a boxy fit not that oversized still dropped and structured at shoulder as we love. Adding so many pockets at front to make it the most utilized jacket when you travel around the world so you can put your goodies in whether big or small. For valuable stuffs you can put them in pockets with flaps and buttons fasten. For the one you need to use often you can put it at the patch pocket without a flap.Buttons are antiqued gold finished and some are vintage patterns. Adjustable waist and cuffs for if you feel you want to make it more fitter.
