tISI STORY

tISI is a combination of local craft heritage, design and environmental conscious. Our design philosophy is rooting from the idea “there is no need to put an effort on something in order to preserve our local heritage, if there is a demand in our modern society.” We discovered the beauty of local northern fabric enriched in culture and artisan crafts by combining with contemporary design, we can create product that is wearable and practical for our daily life. To the fullest, local craft heritage will eventually be preferred which lead to sustain the way of local life.

Furthermore, as we all know that fashion is one of the biggest polluting industry especially in fast fashion which having serious impact on people and environment, namely using lots of chemical on fabric dyes, unethical workers and overproducing garments. On the other hand, we want to make change on those things by offering a better quality product, using natural dyes colors, teaming up with local Pakayor villagers for rural income distribution and efficiently managing stock to minimize overstock waste. We will keep improving until we eventually can make it 100% green.

From all of above born tISI ; we believe that the sustainable way for preserving local way of life and environment is how we make it practical for our daily life.
